Being a stay at home mom (well mostly anyways) definitely has it's ups and downs. There is always some guilt from not bring in the income that I could be bringing in if I were working, especially when I saw our taxes and realized that in no way, shape, or form am I going to bring in the bacon that I did last year. Then there are times like what I am feeling right now. GRATEFUL!
I am so grateful that we have been so blessed with this little girl, and that God has and continues to provide for all that we need. I am so grateful that I have such a wonderful husband, that wants me home with our pride and joy. I am so grateful to have such a supportive boss/job that I have, for what little I do work.
Today had its trying times, but with those times came a feeling that I get every so often. Complete awe of the plan that God has and is doing in my life. I cannot say that I am shocked at that plan, because it is what I have prayed for since I can remember, and I am a firm believer that HE ALWAYS ANSWERS PRAYER. I have always felt that I was called to be a mother. I can say that I am shocked by the ride. I am shocked that the not so great times are completely amazing! Right now, the lows of my day are still amazing highs.
I could go on and on about this, but I won't. I will simply leave it at this; I am completely in love with my Christ, and my husband. For without them, these joys in my life would not be possible.
For those of you who come by to see pictures of Lydia, I included one below with her best furry friend, Schatzy. Lydia thinks Schatzy is the next best thing to baby mum-mums, and Mommy of course! Thank you so much for stopping by!
